ISTANDALONE is a control freak with more mouth than the Amazon estuary. But when it comes to getting a yield from a grow he just cannot cut the mustard, and it burns him up SOOOO bad.

lol, SpanishFly, sure uve given me shit, but damn, 4.5 pounds on ur outdoor grow is fantabulous. Good job mayne. HOws the quality? Try an indoor grow. Im interested to see how you would manifest getting 4.5 pounds indoors with the same number of plants.

Why i said he was right was because we are trying to steer you in the right direction (Away from MG) but you seem to be insisting on trying it again.

If thats what you want to do because 1% of the people think they do great with MG then go right ahead and do it.

spanish, no, i'm not a control freak. your just pissed because i called you on your being a dick to someone for no reason. this all goes back to cupcheck's thread, and you know it. answer me this mr fly, why did you have such a problem with what he was doing? answer that question because you never did. imo it was because he didn't take your advise.
and dierwolf, i didn't mean disrespect to you and i apologize if i did, but you know i'm a beginner therefore any smokeable bud i got was good news for me. and i do see how much of a difference organics make with the grow i'm doing now. i just considered doing a side-by-side grow with all the same strain and different ferts for each. but that's called experimenting so i'm sure spanishfly will have something negetive to say about that.

hey, let's not be so sensitive.I can take it. bash me, I'll be lucky to get an ounce from my first 4 I've ever grown. I will gladly take the laughter from the likes of DW and spanishfly in the hopes that a couple of crumbs of that experienced laden laughter will hit the floor and I will scoop it up and do what I can with it. don't get to worried about these guys' feelings, say what you got to say, some of us are looking forward to the shared knowledge.I have used mg with my first 2 grows, and it would've taken me forever to figure out on my own how much better I could be doing, so even at the expense of being laughed at. it's worth it.

Whenever I bump this thread I do it in the hopes of educating some kid before she makes the mistake of buying a bad product. I wish all the over sensativity and hurt feelings could stop. Guess I can wish in one hand and crap in the other and see which comes true first.

I feel like even if somebody took the time to go through and read through this whole thread, they would still feel that deep down desire to try using MG soil for their first grow, just because they think it will work for them. I did [use it], and it didn't [work well at all!]

Thanks for posting those. They should improve now that they are out of the MG Soil. See how your transplanted plants are 6 inches below the rim of the pot? Next time, fill the pot all the way up with dirt to about 2-3 inches off the rim. Good luck.

I was thinking that I would add soil as the plants grew taller and the bottom leaves start dropping off. Is that a bad idea?

You can do that. I just like to start off with a full pot of soil that way you are not wasting valuable indoor pot space.
