Reflective bottom

How much will it help if I add a reflective bottom to my hydro system? I have a 400-w HPS light now. I’m thinking off adding mirror tiles to the bottom of my system to reflect light and help with the yellowing of the bottom leaves. Any ideas or thoughts?

Cody3 is right. Mirrors actually absorb light. Very counterproductive to what you are trying to do.

The only problem I have with mylar and tinfoil is cleaning, well and the fact that I don't think I can reuse it.

That just seams to wasteful for me to do. If I can find a way to make it permeate that would be better. But this dose give me an idea- I can cover 12"X12" tile in tin foil then put them into clear zip-lok baggies. I should just be able to rinse them off and after the first set there will be no waste. Thanks all for your in put.

try this im thinking of lining the whole walls of my room with this stuff ....in lowes they git paneling to put in your shower it is super bright white .. waterproof.. and cleans easily..i think it was ...14.00 4'by 6'or8' and its a little flexible i plan on wrapping ut around the corners of the closet so to make the room a little round at the corners... you could use this to reflect your light up,,,,one quick question why you got that light so high off your plants for
