Second is should I be watering more now that they are bigger say every 2 days instead of just waiting till the top soil got dry, and third is the other plant I have is no where near as big as the other and I noticed it was starting to get bronze/yellow spots on the leafs, so I though maybe I didnt give it as much 10-10-10 as the other one that seems be sprouting new leaves everyday, so I added so more plant food thinking that there might not be enough N, another reasose for the possible slow growth....

-im from overgrow to bud, but this site is just as useful, i just joined myself, the information and knowledge is here, the only thing i noticed at times it takes longer for answers im sure, but they will come.. and on here, you dont have anybody just posting what they think they know... stick around, this is my new home..

-anyway, back to your questions.... you are using cfls correct ? , how many plants are you growing under your 80 watts? how much space do you have to grow them in ? With cfls you keep the lights as close as you can to your plants, use the back of the hand method to determing whether or not if it is to close or not, if its too hot for you in 1 minute, then its too hot for the plants..so keep your lights right on top as clone as you can. there would be no reason to move the lights higher above the plant unless its too much light , as if you are using an HID or too many cfls or if you had them cfls touching your plants. For watering, your watering schedule will always fluctuate from beginning to finish, because they are getting bigger does not mean you water any more than you have been, you always wait untill the top 2-3 inches of soil is dry , and then water througherly until you have alittle bit of water coming out of the bottoms of the pot.... I wouldnt have added any fertilizer untill you found out the main cause of the problem first or atleast narrowed it down.. but since you did, wait a few days, if its getting worse , flush out the soil and post some pictures and give us more information, the same information that the sick/plants forum in overgrow suggests you give before you make a new thread ..
