my lighting system.

i have recently aquired a 4 foot flouro system for free, and i was wondering if i have 2 40 watt 3050 lumens GE daylight how many plants can i put under that son ofa bitch.

Realistically you want to be looking at 3 or 4 times that amount of light before you start growing cannabis under it, if you expect any kind of viable buds to form.

You can grow as many plants under it as will fit - the important number is not 'the number of plants per watt (or lumen)', but the light intensity (lumens per square foot would give you an indication of this).

If you do decide to grow though, and buy a 'proper' HID light (HPS or MH) then that floro set will be good for your seedlings.
