lizards and marijuana?

i have a lizard known as a "chinese water dragon" that lives in a little enclosure i built myself, it has two marijunana plants on either side and im kind of tempted to put one inside and have it like a jungle but im not sure how this would effect the lizard? may seem silly but i love my lizard, i use some of his heat lamps for the plants, its a nice little set up, not exactly a grow op but it looks very nice in my house and has a decent yield.

i dont think it will kill him, and unless he eats them he wont have any TCH or any chemicals in his body, so im sure he'll be ok.

im pretty sure hed be fine with the plants, but i think the better question is would ur plants be fine with him. Theres always the probability that he'll eat them and then theres no more 'little jungle.' not even sure what lizards eat though lol, just rambeling.

Hi, I know quite a bit about lizards, and I would say don't do it. Water dragons do eat veggitation from time to time, and it wouldn't be worth it.

as long as you buy food for it from the pet store and keep food available to it (dried flies cost like 2 bucks) itll do fine..ive never seen the ater dragon eat veg,

they got soft spike like things around their head with only 2 legs if i remember correctly..with a tadpole like tail..if this is the right lizard then you wont have to worry about it feasting on the reefage. once again if my mind serves me right, they prefer to spend a good portion of there time submerged in water, if you go buy a terrerium (half land half water tank) youll be set..and then youll have a safe jungle inside your tank without takin light away from your lil pet

Your way off man. Heres a safer bet, try to give it something like collard greens (or just something dark green in your fridge) , if it eats it then don't do it. Some water dragons have no interest in greens at all, and others like their fruits and veggies. Peace.

its possible that they may try to eat it...they do eat lettuce but prefer pinkies or crickets...things like that or once again dead flies..so no, im not way off.the chance that it will eat from your plant when it has more accessable food lower to the ground is low

I just saw you said it had like 2 legs, spikes around the head, and a tadpole like tail. I think you were thinking of frilled lizards, they are shown running across water sometimes. Water dragons look quite a bit like iguanas when they are babies, only they have more of a blocky head, and a short nose.
