First Grow!! need help : p

ok so its time.

I havnt started yet however I am looking for everything to buy right now. Ill be growing inside my closet and building a custom box for it. Im going to be growing 6 to 8 plants inside.

The real thing i need to know is:

-what light to use (was looking at using a 400W HPS)
-airflow(thinking about running my box off of a computer powersupply and running fans in the back of the box....2 120mm fans.)
-soil to use(no idea really)
-nutrients(same as soil)
-pots to use(same as nutrients)
-how to neutralize the odor.
-regulate the air moisture in my closet.



- and last but not least. I want to grow exotic plants. (white widow, Ultra Skunk, Super Haze ect.)

Your going to need better air flow than two 120mm computer fans can supply for a 400 watt HPS.

Light: Highest wattage you can afford, while taking cooling into consideration.

airflow: As much CFM as you need to cool off your light plus exchange the air in your box completely every 5 mins. So we're talking inline and centrifugal fans for the proper CFM.

soil: Just use store bought soil, try and get good quality organic potting mix and if you can add in some vermiculite and perlite for soil conditioners

nutrients: Try and buy nutes specifically made for cannabis. If you cant, try and get a better quality nute than your regular miracle grow type.

pots: The smallest pot you want to grow in is 3 gallons, the bigger the better.

odour: Carbon Filters

humidity: Humidifier and dehumidifiers
