Forcing a plant to bud (by changing the lights to 12/12) can be done at any time. In fact you *have* to force the plant to bud by doing that or it will never bud.

You can bud it anytime you want. I've seen some outdoor grows in Jamaca where the plants started budding the day they sprouted (due to the shortened winter days) and it was done in 6 weeks. Granted the bud wasn't that good but still the point is, you can do it as soon or as late as you want.

My rule of thumb is I wait untill there are ATLEAST 8 nodes on the stem.

I ususally wait untill 8 then I flower.

good luck

From the looks of it that soil is dry as shit. Stick your finger into the soil like 1 or 2 inches deep, and if the soil isnt damp or even moist, you need to water your plant. Thats the most primitive way to test the soil water content, but it works. Also you sound like you dont understand the light cycles you should be putting the plant threw. The general ratio is to have your plant on a 18/16 cycle while your vegging(18 of light/16 or dark) and 12/12 for flowering(12 light/12 dark).

Holy cow I want some of what your smoking man 18+6=24 and 18+16=34. wooowwwwwwww I must sleep alot i didn't know there was 34 hrs in a day.

Yes. You can flower them after bout a month and a half by then they'll be 7-10" tall (depending on the love) Always better to wait longer but it your baby. 18/6 to 12/12 and then about 3 weeks you'll have some buds (plant usually doubles to triples in size during flower) so plant 14-30" decent sized plant

oh yeah get more light they're purple cause they're stretch for light mine did the same thing

Just to let you know, the stage that your plant is in right now was a Pause stage for me, not sure if this happens to everyone but my plant stopped growing for about 3-4 days when it looked just like yours, then after that it started growing like crazy again.
