CFL lighting question

i posted this on the beginers thread as well, but I just bought a few CFL light bulbs that have 75 watt light output and warm lighting is this good?

Also, I dont really know how to get all of these lights to turn on... I went out and bought a few fixtures at the home depot, but like the dont plug into a wall, they have 2 wires coming out the top a black and white one, does anybody know how I can wire all these together or something?

Depends how many plants you are growing..if your growing just one plant..a 75 watt cfl would be the bare minimum. You should probably get more lighting but you can still grow 1 with it. and plz refrain from double posting, just makes our job harder.

ok heres what I thought up for a light board.

I get my piece of plywood and drill the holes through it then I take a extension cord and cut it and then solder the black and white wires from the bulb directly to the black and white cord in the extension cord and plug in the extension cord to a power strip heres my sketch of what im doing, if i was confusing

ps: I deleated the other thread sorry bout that

dont bother soldiering the wires. if you have the outlets im thinking of there is black rubber surrounding the outlet. its a general indoor outdoor worklight. just get an orange extension cord, some wire nuts, and some electrical tape. split the insulation on the wire match the colors and add some wire nuts...

or just tear the base off the CFL and wire directly to the ballasts... or is that what your saying... if so, then good, yeah it'll work... just be sure you dont wire one backwards
