Alright...I noe how to tell the difference between male and female...i noe having a female is great..males...bad. I see all these sites focusing on telling feamle from male. But being a noob grower, i really dont understand how it works. If you have a plant and it grows and grows, some stems branch off female, others branch off male? Or are each plant strictly male, othes female? ( i noe you can buy a feminized seeds). And say i come across a male...How do i just get rid of it? trace the male stem back to the soil and cut it down or rip off its balls? i have noe idea how to handle them. Don't make fun of me.. =/ ..lol jus help =D.

The whole plant, not just a stem, will be male or female.

You can tell its a male by the balls it grows (the seed pods)

The females will have hairs, pistils.

If you get a male, simply throw it out or make hash from the leaves, or it will make seedy shitty weed.

weed is Dioecious. that means literally 'two houses'.

this means that males and females are on different plants.


only dioecious plants can turn hermaphrodite. monecious plants, those with both sexes in the same plant (like a sunflower or roses or most plants in the world) are all hermaphrodite.

Thanks alot it was really bugging me...its gotta really suck to nurture the plant for so long then find out its a male...or get caught.. hehe thx alot..my plants seem to be doing real well hopefully ill get alot a ladies =). What do they mean when looking for males "locte the males and get rid of them" do they mean the WOLE plant or get rid of particular males? thats what confused me.

If the plant is male, the WHOLE plant will be male, so yes get rid of that particular plant, and keep the females plants that you get.
