All red hairs, clear tricomes

I'm so dam torn if i should harvest this plant. All the hairs are red and they seem to be getting darker put the tricomes barley look clouded.

I'm not sure if the light in the room may be distorting the color of the tricomes. I don't wanna wait to long and have the thc degrade but i just can't decide what to do. help me out

is this a specific strain or bag seed? imo though wait. if the trichs are clear its not ready. if you have an abundance of red hairs though you may be misreading amber trichs for clear. pics are the key though bro. link some and well be able to help better. other than that look for swollen calyxes, changes in color of the bud, all the signs that ripening has occured.

You are doing the right thing dude in going off the trics and not the "hairs". Some of my strains have been around 100% red and the trics have still wanted a little longer to turn.

Follow the trichomes, the color of the pistils means nothing regarding the timing of harvest.

To look at trichs, take a tiny snippet (like 1/4 the size of a grain of rice), put it on a piece of white paper, and look at it under 25x-75x magnification under natural light (not in the grow room). As you are getting close to harvest you should do this in a couple of different spots from each plant because the buds may not mature at the exact same time.

This is bag seed, a clone from my last grow. I think I harvested my last grow a little bit to early so I don't wanna make the same mistake but when you see all red hairs its hard not to pick it.

To be honest growing the plants came easy, the hardest part for me is knowing when to harvest the plant. I don't know if that a good thing or bad thing lol.
