HPS lighting question

Is this light good enough to do a simple 2-3 plant grow i will also have high watt cfls on the sides for extra lighting... http://www.htgsupply.com/viewproduct...roductID=53025 also is this site reliable

Yes HTG Supply is where i got my 400W HPS light w/ ballast, They have good stuff. I usually go with at least 50w/plant, 2-3 should be ok with that HPS light. But be careful with heat issues from HPS while in sapling stage (2-3 weeks from sprout). They are really easy to kill, I might suggest using only the CFLS for the first 2-3 weeks, and keep them close to the plants about 3-5 inches and on 24hrs a day.. then go ahead and use the HPS Light. on a normal 12on/12off cycle..

Yeah, that should work for that size grow. HTG has come through for me on several occasions, ordering from them.
