Starting a new grow tomorrow.

Ok so I have been planning this grow out for a while and i have been reading this website for some time now gathering all the info i can to have a successful first grow. I am going to start a grow diary tomorrow once i get the plants. One main question is i am going to a store that just sells clones and i am planning on getting 4 of them how many CFLs would i need for 4 brand new clones at first?

Everything i am getting tomorrow
4xClones
4x 2 gallon pots
soil
?x CFL
anything else people recommend

I am going to get the PH meter and temp gauge, better lights, nuts and fans and stuff in a few weeks i am just trying to get this off the ground tomorrow.

thank you all in advance for all the help

Re: Starting a new grow tomorrow.

usually 50w/plant is enough. So figure 4 clones need 200-300 watts of incandescent light. A 26w CFL is usually equal to about 100w of incandescent light. So just to be safe i would go with 4 26Watt bulbs equal to 400w of incandescent light.

I would go with these that you can buy online and pickup at your local walmart.

4 of those should be enough to get your grow off the ground..

also at wal mart they have a phosphorus bone meal supplement. It is good for raising nitrogen levels in your soil and helps root production and strength. Very much worth it, don't use too much though.

Re: Starting a new grow tomorrow.

I'd recommend getting a ph meter right away. PH needs to be monitored frequently. If it's too high / too low it can cause lots of problems.

GL getting going.
