Why is my auto so huge!?

Ok so I have this autoflowering diesel and its supposed to get like 20 inches high I heard. SO... day 47 I think it is and I just snapt a picture, she is 38 inches!! She finally stopped growing vertically and put on some budweight yesterday but I think she has started growing again.

Any explaination for why is is getting so huge! she is in a 3 gallon pot filled with FFOF and fed with flora nova grow/bloom big bloom and B'cuzz root stimulant.

WOW It's probably so big cause you did such a nice job with it...and maybe the root stimulant could be causing it to kepp on growing. Either way, I hope to grow my Lowryder as nice as this plant. +Rep

Dominant and recessive genes

Auto-flower plants are Ruderalis cross breeds, usualy with Sativas. So, I think it's pretty obvious that your Auto-flowering cross breed is just showing a recessive Sativa characteristic which increases the height as a result of more growth hormones determined via genetics.

I don't think there's anything wrong, plant might be higher potency... maybe?

yeah i think this dudes right. that woulnd of even crossed my mind(even tho i know about it). its true though. ive done some plants same seed shown different traits from the two mothers, its honestly pretty freakin cool. looks pretty good tho, hey ive never heard anyone complaining about being to big hah.

yeah i'm not saying its a bad thing at all! I was just wondering. thanks for the explaination though, i didn't think of that but it makes sense why all the others are around 6'' shorter. If you want to follow along be sure to follow my grow!

great plants! one of my original lowryders did the same and is much later flowering than the rest and is twice as tall about 35inches, i guess its just recessive genetics or somthing similar.

thanks for all the input guys but your all wrong. its not recessive genetics. I did some further research and aparently the size pot you use determines plant size to an extent.

since all 6 of my deisels are 34-38 inches tall, im assuming its the pot size and the fact that i used root stimulant. still something quite marvelous to look at.

Had I known that it was in a larger planter than your other plants.
Had I known you gave only this plant the root stimulators.

Then I would have suggested that. I was under the impression conditions were equal for all the plants.

Or wait? Are you saying they are all tall now? I am so utterly confused as to what is going on here.

Nah, I am feeding them all root stimulants and they are getting Bloom nutes, along with FFBB and molasses. They all got around 45 inches tall, basically supercropped the tops of them to fit my space and I think as a result I am going to yield MUCH more. check out my journal.

That is simply amazing results! Wow, you're definitely doing everything 100% right and you are getting rewarded with these massive plants. Keep up the good work. As far as an explanation of why they are so tall, well you're giving them plenty of nutes and you're probably showing them all the attention they need.

Basically you're good at growing monster sized marijuana plants! Good job.

Hahah thanks man, you should see them now. check the journal for further updates but it should be noted that the diesels are getting huge. I actually had to supercrop most of the colas during flowering becuase they were still growing vertical. excess of 42 inches in 50 days!
