Super Lemon Haze clone first attempt!

Here are 2 cutting from my SLH. I'll try 2 method.
1. Raft cloner system (DIY)
2. Peat Pellet.

Also using 2 different clone gel.
1. Clonex by YATES.
2. Rootech by TECHNAFLORA.

I use T4 osram FL 20watt.

So anyone can share an info/tip's/advice how to take care of clone? This is my first attempt in cloning a plant,so will do need more source how to take care of them.

Re: Super Lemon Haze clone first attempt!

I cloned my plants about 2 weeks ago for my first time and I had 100% success using Clone-X gel, rockwool cubes soaked at 5.5 pH rain water, kept in a humidity dome and using a seedling heat mat. I didn't even try with them either. The cuttings weren't very clean, I wasn't quick getting them to the cubes and out of the air, and still they are rooted and happy.

All I did was spray them with some RO water 3 or 4 times a day. The first day they didn't really get any direct light. Day 2 I started giving them some light but from a CFL outside the humidty dome. By day 3 I had about 100w of CFLs kept 6" above the plants on for 48 hours on, 8 hours off.

What did I learn? Cut it, dip it, plant it, keep the leaves moist and humidity/temp high until it roots. Pretty much a no brainer, hella easy dude, no worries. My cloning setup cost me about $50.

Re: Super Lemon Haze clone first attempt!

with ur raft system.... there is an air stone in there to aerate the water right? If not, you wont get roots but a rotted stem instead. other then that the system should work

Yup,the DIY raf cloning i try, since i saw it on the net, then i try to built one,3 air stone the cloner, hoping it rooting soon. Try to built the ez cloner but can't find the material to built it locally. I can't find sprayer and neoprene or something simmilar of it. Got to order it online,it just a waste of time for me to order something like that.

If it's doesn't work so maybe i'll stick wit the peat/coco/soil cloning.

Day two the plant are still steady,no sign of dying. Will update if it rooting well.

Here there are no rockwool or any cube i can find, only that peat pellet.
It's cheap about $10 for around 200 pieces. I like that ez cloner or botanicare machine, still can get my hand on,it cost a lot. Maybe next year i switch to all hydro system.

Any opinion on which are the best hydro?
