Smile Time to flower? Expertise welcome!

Just wondering what u guys thought of my "girls" (my first grow)

2 Pineapple Princess'
4 weeks into veg
About 8" to 10" tall
Under 12 X 26W 6500K CFL`s
Using GH nutes
2X4X6.5 foot grow tent

I was thinking about letting them veg for another week or do u think i should switch to flowering. And when i do should i switch all my CFL`s to 2700K or just some of them

THX

It seems like you have plenty of room to let them get bigger first. the bigger they get the more of those cfls you will need though, they have a very limited penetration depth.

Re: Time to flower? Expertise welcome!

They look happy - I'd let the veg a while longer. But how big are the pots?

Re: Time to flower? Expertise welcome!

I agree wait, I would top em too, but thats a whole nother story. Unless its a majority sativa strain it is probably bred to be low to med height anyway and by topping and waiting, 3' to 4' is all you would probably get.

do not top your plants! you are using cfl's, topping will lengthen your grow time drastically. i only use cfl's and i have topped before. tie the branches off gradually(only when they are in the way) and tame them down. this will let the same parts of the plant to develope that would have had you topped. you wont loose you main cola and no stress. also add some cfl's to sides of plants on y's to develope sides and lowers. good luck bro
