Thumbs up Re: cfl lighting question

Ahhh good shit man, 2 out of 4 of my seeds just sprouted too!! Woot woot, i keep em about 1-2 inches from my cfls because they really need the warmth, and keep the soil nice and moist. New babies are lookin for some wa-wa . I also have 3 fresh bubblegum clones going im gonna see if the seeds pass them up. Oh yeah, whatcha growin? My 2 that sprouted are Northern Lights, the other 2 are another northern and a bubblegum. Happy Growin

Re: cfl lighting question

The closer the better, really. I adjust mine at the same time every day, so I keep them 2-3 inches away. I keep 6 CFL's on each plant at all times, and this hasn't burnt or gotten too hot for the plants for the 2 1/2 weeks they've been growing so far.

The closer the light is to the plant, the more the plant can absorb. It's just a matter of finding a distance that the plant won't grow into and burn itself untill the next time you are able to adjust them.
