do I feed during night on drip while flowering? And when do I add the first blooming nute. A week after 12/12? Im dripping 15 on/ 60min off with two 1/gph nozzles per clone. A and b nutes with a little humbolt root. Still in veg. 10 inch clones. 400 hps 4x4 room.

Not good to feed with lights off,,they are resting any way. I flush a couple of days before going 12/12,,start fresh,,,bleeding out excess nitrogen,clearing salts away,,then on to flower

im interested in this. i saw it on another post and this is new to me. dont feed during the night? now i run a flood and drain system on my flowering set-up and i still let it run at night and my babies are doing amazing. now i know the plants will only eat when it wants to so would it really matter? im really interested on this! not to steal the thread

I have never used this method, I use DWC. My plants drink at night, I have topped off just before lights out and they drink as much as a half gallon overnight while in full bloom.

Ive always come to bellieve that when the plant is "resting" its storing sugars and that sort of stuff so feeding at night is actually very helpful! ive also heard that if you flip the lights off for 36 hours and let your plants feed and store they produce better buds and smell better (because its focusing less on veg and more on flowering).

Like most fruiting plants, the fruit (buds) develop and night and do indeed feed.

To answer your question, we need to know a little more about the medium you are growing in and the consumption by the plant(s). If it's soil, most likely a daily or every-other daily feeding should suffice, I'd say when the lights come on is your best bet.

For fast draining hydroton or something like that, 2 feedings a day or more may be better. Do you have a timer/pump for your drips or are you using a gravity system? Do you have any runoff when you feed?

For ebb & flows, I had lots of success flooding 30 minutes after lights start & 30 minute before they turned off, grow rate was incredible (using pebbles). This gave them a good feeding of nutes before the two critical grow cycles.

Anyway, others may have other good regiments, but this has worked well for me, hope it helps!

I am growing the clones in 3" rockwool cubes over a bed of coco for the roots. I feed on a 1/gph drip(2 drippers per plant)...15 min feed....1 hour rest. It is a recirculating drip hydro setup with a filter.
I keep an air stone in the res.
Am I feeding too much, the clones look good after 3 weeks.
When should I start flowering?
The clones of white widow are 12" tall now and branching. The roots are now digging into the coco beneath the cubes.
