Hi All, new to the game but just set up 3 lights and 50 kush babies....I need help ;)

Hi All,

Nik here from good ol gangcouver, I am hoping to get some good info from here on how to grow the best kush I can....I just potted them into larger pots and fed them with 3 equal parts of the medicine....400ml of each one I cant remember the names of the meds but they are they ones your supoosed to give em I guess, as well as I put some monster bloom powder , a table spoon into 20 galons of water....used less then half of the mixture.......now that was the first feeding I have done for them from getting them yesterday at baby stage.....NOW WHAT DO I DO ?? to keep them growing and the best they can.....please list off everything I need

Which food, when do I feed them, water them, keep em under lights for 12 hours ??

What is cycocel ?? I have posted a pic of what they look like so far and if you guys n girls could please help me grow these things greatly I would be so happy !! Thanks !!

18-24 hours during vegetation and 12 for flowering. There's a good GC stickie on "plant nutrient essentials" worth reading. The High Times Magazine's DVD "Ready,Set,Grow!" is pretty well-rounded also.

depends... 24/hr light will work fine, but some growers like to give them some nap time..

I keep my lights on 24/7

Because in the budding stage the plants will nearly double.. some times tripple it's size.. fyi.

well what kind of lights/ soil are you using. how many watts are they. i think you can get the lights two feet away if they are 1000 watt lights. looks like yours are a little bit far away. do you have proper ventilation? are your lights air cooled? what are your temps in the room. do you have a ph meter/what is the ph of the solution your using? are you using 1/4 the ammount of the recomended amount of nutrients? is your room light proof? do you have mylar on your walls? if i were you i would ask yourself these questions and fix some things. but your plants look good. at this point i would just keep feeding them 1/4 the nutrients that the manufacturerer recommends. use advance nutrients.. i here they are reallly good for pot plants. i'd get a screen and place it like a foot above the pots and space the pots out evenly. then do a SCROG. keep them in vegitation for about 6 or 7 weeks, pulling the plants through the screen every few days. the plant should get very bushy and eventually you'll have the screen 70-80 percent filled. then switch it to 12/12 and wait about 9 or ten weeks and you'll have a lot of bud.

Scrog 50 plants? Fuck me,lol You need to get at them to tuck them and at 6x8 plants for a 5x5 screen, you'd need about 7 or 8 5x5 screens. I don't think he has that kind of room. Time is a whole different issue.

My advice to ANYONE that wants to grow is to grow 1 or 2 plants through the whole life cycle before attempting any other plan. There is so much involved. You my man are biting off a heck of a chunk, lots and lots of work ahead. Begin by reading the sticky's in the "beginner's" and "indoor growing" sections.

thx all for the info, yes i am now saying what the hell did i get my self into nd i hope the 5 grand i just spent does not go to waste......the smell is vented to go out the toilet....as for that no other venting.....but i am going to but a fan in there tonight.....so again how often do i feed them and water them ?? thx

You may want to look into a carbon filter in order to get rid of some stank. That is a hell of a grow for a first timer my friend, good luck.

I do have one bro, the filter and silencer package, its vented to make the smell go out the toilet hole.....now what do I do water them everyday ?? feed them what and how often thx...I hope I dont waaste my 5 grand lol

What exactly did you get??

first things first though.

WATERING

JUST water them for now. No more nutes till you read up on what you are giving them, how much, and why. We'll get to that in due time, let's learn to walk before we run.

You water the plant when you stick your finger in about an inch to 2 and don't feel any moisture,...THAT'S when you water. Water enough to saturate it and let it be. A med pot can take up to 2, even 3 days till it needs water again. Some more aggressive eaters may need another dose in a day and a 1/2 or so.

The key with these plants is to let them fully dry out before saturating them again. This helps prevent root rot and let's the roots get oxygen as well as water. You'll get to know your plants by looking at them and examining the soil. This will come with time and just doing it. Get in the habit of lifting each plant for a second before watering and then again after also. you'll be able to tell if a plant needs a drink by lifting it eventually. For now, the combination of touching, looking and lifting will keep you relatively safe but most of all, WATCH YOUR PLANT. Look at it, get to know it. They tell you what they need if you keep your eyes open.

DO NOT OVER WATER!!!

Overwatering and nutrient burn are the 2 most common mistakes of new growers

You need to get a Ph pen. Spend the $ on a good one. You will be testing your ph by testing the water that comes out into the spill tray after watering (called "runoff") Testing your Ph will be the 1st thing you do when it comes to troubleshooting 90% of the issues that come up. Issues WILL come up.

I don't want to give you too much at once so keep reading around, pay attention to the stickies. Before you do anything though, please write out a list of what you got with this package so we can help you maximize your equipment.

well rent for the apt in downtown - over 2 k with deposit
all the equipment and lights - 1 k
the foods and misc - 1 k
my time that ive been there has cost me over 2 k

lol worst comes to worst they die and ill take all the stuff out and re rent the apt so its not too much pressure but I want them to grow great and as quick as possible .....so all the advice I can get is crucial

We need the basics, I wasn't asking for am accounting of the $$, I need to know what size lights, which bulbs, any fans, scrubbers, nutrients (brand names and exact products), what kind of soil, etc.

This is like going to the doctors and asking him whats wrong but not telling him any symptoms.

commercial method. fox farm ocean forest soil /perlite. 3or4 gallon square pots or bags. 4x4 rows under each light. veg them until they are about 12 inches or 3weeks, under 20 hours MH lighting. switch to 12/12 600-1000watt hps x3. apply bloom nutes for 6 weeks. flush. only water for 2 weeks. no water for 1 week. harvest. dry 1 week. cure 2 weeks minimum. only water when they really need it. dont over-water or over-nute. 1-2 medium sized oscillating fans. temps always over 69 and under 84 degrees F. fox farms is easy and the website gives you a feeding schedule. thats how i do. i would be careful about that toilet vent. harmful gasses come from that pipe. good luck on the come up

shooooo weeee that is one hell of a first grow my man. your going to have a LOT on your hands and the time your going to be spending there is a good chunk. i bid you very goodluck kind sir.

as LBH said, we need a proper diagnoses in order to give you the help that you need.

as Thunderfck said, i would be very careful with having that air go through that toilet vent unless you live in an area that legalized. if not then that heat will be detected by thermal radars used by police helicopters to identify such activity. make ABSOLUTELY sure that the smell is neutralized because that is going to be one HELL of a stench coming from that many plants, even with elimination of male plants (which is a must) your still going to have a very potent (but beautiful

) smell.
