Do Vegetative plants have a strong smell?

Just wondering if vegetative plants have a strong smell like I'm sure the flowering plants do? Or is that strong weed smell just from after they start flowering?

Some strains have a definite odor........not as powerful as flowering but enough to warrant using odor control.

It's stronger when you flower obviously but they have the beginning of the smell.

uh,...scent,...better word,lol, "smell" sounds negative

i have a little one that im about to flower and she has a definate odor, shes already really skunky even before i have started to bud her.

i have a jar of ona block pro inside the box as well as a ghetto carbonfilter on the exhaust, but there is still a twinge of bud in my room

I love walking into my basement and that warm fresh greenery scent just nails ya

. Cant wait for the flowering odors, cant friggen wait. Yeah the ONA works decent but I find I have to agitate it to keep the "scents" down.

Is "odor" a word w/ negative connotations?

Some vaportek ez twists will take care of that. Once you are flowering you will at least need some carbon or an air scrubber in conjunction with the vaportek disks. BTW neutral smells like toothpaste with a hint of black liqorish, but you get used to it fast. I can imagine lemon smelling nice, and current.

They work for about 3 weeks, but they are only about $2.50 a piece from HID hut, and the holders are about the same.

I am about a week and a half in my grow and i if i put my nose up to the plant i definatly smell the birth of some sweet mj
