Hawaii growers post here!

Alright, I was convinced to post some pics but they were taken with my iphone so quality sux. Right now in Hawaii we got pretty much 12/12 outdoors so everyday around 7am or so I put my plants outdoors and around 5pm I bring them in for some supplemental lighting til around 11:30pm.

if you notice, some of the plants are kinda stretching. that's due to the light in the cabinet. the bigger ones were vegged somewhere else. in the meantime, i am patiently waiting for my "professional grower" SABURO to bring the correct color bulbs. I hope I don't eff up the plants with real daylight then later some indoor red light from the LED's. Anybody know anything about that?

Hey not sure if I understood this thread correctly. In the beginning someone posted that you can only have 2 mature plants. This is incorrect according to all of the HI med marijuana laws I've read, including official laws posted on the web. They say in HI you can have 7 plants growing and 3 of them be mature.

yes you are correct.it is 3 flowering plants(visible to the naked eye). Stupid law if you ask me. that's why i'm extending the available daylight to keep my plants from flowering too early and having too many "mature" plants at one time. IMO we should be allowed at least 10 plants 5 flowering and 5 immature plants, minimum. then we can do the clones of 5 plants or grow from seed while the ladies are flowering and by the time the 8 weeks or so is up, the clones or seeds may be ready. I dunno, I'm a newb at growing so I just was thinking about the best way to have a continuous supply.

Thanks for pointing out that it is 3. The definition of mature is rather vague in the law and subjective.

I have to ask you guys something. I live in Burbank, CA, and want to come out to HI for school in the spring, but am concerned about the growing. I know the HI governor is staunchly opposed to medical marijuana and this scares me abit, since it's supposed to be legal for those with a legit MM card.
Have any of you, who have grown the legal amount, ever been arrested or your plants seized? Can you grow in apartments? I dont know why i'm so hesitant since it's legal and I qualify, but I have these thoughts of infrared cameras from helocopters spotting a hot spot on my apartment and or a lanlord being tipped off that I'm growing b/c the smell might get abit pungent even with an Ozone machine during harvest/drying. I dunno, whatchya think? I really want to go out to HI for school though.
So along with that, which island is the best to live on and why? It looks like the Big Island is, umm, pretty desolate & it would be easier to get land out there, yeah?

the big island is great . it has the the most mm patients in the state and probably the most undeveloped land . yes like most places mm patients get harassed but i heard through the asa meetings that the cases got thrown out after they figure out it was a legal grow (dumb). all of the islands a awesome so i guess its whatever u want .life is sweet in hawaii so come check it out.

I had to start a couple more seeds. These are the ones I chose. The Lowlife is Hindu Kush. I wanted to grow the Satori because it is not supposed to give you the "racing heart" feeling. I don't like that very much. So far, my friends have had poor luck with Satori. Maybe this one will be strong (and female.) I like Mandala seeds but they don't sell feminized seeds. Oh, and they shorted me on my safari mix that I bought from them. Was supposed to get 20 seeds and didn't get them all...

Rumor has it that this Sadhu from Mandala seeds grew balls and will be exterminated in the next day or two when confirmation of sex is made...
Too bad, it was a nice plant. The stalk was as thick as my thumb.
