Assuming that you're medium is soil, it's the best to keep the soil humid (not wet!). If you grab a handfull of soil and squeeze, no water may come out. Or you can poke your finger into the soil and if it still feels wet, skip watering.
30 degrees centigrade doesn't have to be a problem as long as you have sufficient fresh air supply and air circulation. You did not write how old your plants are, but it is not uncommon that during the 5th or 6th week it looks like the plants have stopped growing. After a week or so growing resumes.
Good luck!

its a couple of weeks old. 3" pot with a compost mixture (your average one containing a leveled balance of nuts.

ive been told tom feed works well?

we've got an inlet fan on the left side with an exhaust fan on top at the back. using 120mm PC fans with multi-voltage settings, starting from 3v - 12v.

Lighting = 4x 20w energy saving CFL
2x 12" 15w Flouro

did i miss any Q's? really appreciate this guys, its our first grow.

PS i can reduce the temp with the Fan settings, the temps about 20*C with the fans on constant.

Yes Yes Yes! HPS is the way to go. Only the ventilation issue becomes even more important because HPS radiates a lot of heat. The price seems fair to me.

Tomato ferts are ok for pot. But since you use pre-mixed soil, wait at least 5 weeks before adding extra ferts.
BTW, read Grandpa's Grow Guide at the general indoor forum.

Yes, like woody said, HPS is definitely the way to go over your current lighting scheme, just beware that it's alot hotter than the flouros will be, and you cant have it as close to the plants..so you need to take the height of your growbox into consideration... but price seems legit to me!

Just as a side note at mentioned, yea...with HPS you will need to keep your plant tops farther back. With my 150w and 75w HPS's I had been keeping my plants a good 8" or so...and had problems. Im not 16" or so maybe more and they are doing great
