An orphan I took in

So my friend found a planet in an ally way and he said it was a girl so I took her in. This was back in June and ive taken care of it with CFL's. I have a combo of 42 watt 23 watt and a few 13 watt. I have somewhere around 300 watts total. I gave her 24 hour light for a few months and she has been flowering since the first of August. She is still growing bit by bit, but im thinking its about time to flower. I have pruned the plant down pretty bare at this point because the leaves were going brown and dying young. The plant was sick when I found it, and I transplanted it and gave it light and water and thats it. The plant had 5 days with no light due to angry lesbians(long story) and it had another 3-5 days with no light due to moving circumstances. Both of these periods were in the flowering stage. So its had a lot of stress put on it. I think I would like to move on and try my own now. Here are some pictures, what do you guys think? Harvest??

My cat is a catnip junkie, she loves rubbing her face in it. I thought it was weird until I imagined what I would do with pot if I didnt have thumbs or fire. haha

I didnt really look up much about growing. The leaves were dying and it was making the plant look horrible, so I started trimming... I just recently made it that bare though, I was planning on harvesting and wanted to get light in the middle before I cut her down. So should I just go ahead and do it??

Re: An orphan I took in

Well it was about the last week of July when I put her on 12/12. She was flowering when I found her, but was sick and stretched, so I put her back on 24 hour treatment. So I should cut the leaves off next time?? LOL im a dumbass, ill look things up next time.

Can I cut the topp buds off and try to let the bottom ones get bigger? Or does it not work that way??

Re: An orphan I took in

Indeed, many people harvest in pieces. I would say your buds look pretty ripe, and I am not sure that buds are very capable of absorbing light by themselves (without leaves). Therefore, I would say you can leave the lower buds and take down the higher up ones to dry, but I don't know how much it would pay off without any leaves.

My suggestion is that that plant looks pretty great for the stress it has incurred. I would chop it and dry it out and enjoy the fruits of your love. But if you prefer to leave the lower buds for a bit, I doubt it would do any harm.

Great job.

Re: An orphan I took in

lol at great job.

horrible job, but the plant still looks ok. just judging by the hairs ide say 1 or 1/5 week. but if u have 15$ go to radio shack and get a microscope thing, they have them cheapest and work GOOD to see tris. go to newbie section for when to harvest. r u feeding it?..if r, then stop and flush or ull have shit tasting weed. also please for the love of god delete your pictures off that site, upload them after axcrypt'ing it and uplaod from a area away from home (or where u growing). its very easy to find info from photos to track u down.

ohhh, newbs :P

next time youll do it big i can tell, we were all newbs sometime~
