Growing balls in a month of pure 24hour light?

Two of my plants seem to be growing balls after being in 24hour light for 4 weeks. Does this seem likely or what do you think could of done this? In my previous grow I didn't see any signs of sex until after i switched to 12/12 after 6 weeks of veg. Only real difference between the grows was I added more lights, and LST both the plants this time. If anyone has any ideas or advice, I would appreciate it. I could post pictures of the plants if needed.

AS always pictures never hurt.

I had this same problem a few days ago but it was only on one plant. Personally I would say chop em down the balls represent male pre-flowers. When a plant matures to the point that it is ready to flower it will start to show it's sex. Anywhere from 4 to 6 weeks you will start to see pre-flowers. It is more rare to see big balls on a vegging plant but it do happen as in our cases.
