Hey, I just moved to a state where growing herbs is illegal.. The last state I lived in(CA) you could legally grow if you had a script.. I was thinking about buying a little 600w HPS and throwing together a soil grow so I could have some good dank around these parts without having to hassle with people... and cause I LOVE growing and miss it.. I was just curious how many of you do it in spite of the law.. Let me know... please.. I need encouragement.... Thanks...

I'm guessing that there are very few card-holding growers posting when compared to the number of outlaws. Thus the reason for very few face pics LOL

Check out the laws at the NORML site for your state, just so you can keep it close to the cuff as far as amounts, penalties etc.

If you're growing under the radar, it's nice to keep it under an amount that is the difference between a year and 5 years, or probation or incarceration.

Thanks Bro, Norml is a bookmark for me.. Thanks for the input though.. I was just trying to see how many others actually defied the law growing herbs... you know.. Overgrow the government style..

Yea I'm with ya, but doesn't it seem as though they have dared to plant liberty's garden, and with it, rule out our being allowed to have complete control over certain parts of nature.. I mean, I know we are free, and liberty stands, but the laws they make sure can inhibit that freedom should we choose to forgo the limits they set.. But ya.. like I said, overgrow them.. Let's get it done..

I grow for med patients .. legally .. but no way am I giving out info that can lead others besides the cops to my place .. rippers suck ..

Anyone see the Sept 28th issue of Fortune magazine? Cover story is "Is Pot Already Legal?" A good read. My state is one that has legislation pending for medical marijuana growing. More than half the states either have or are considering laws making medical marijuana legal. It's going to be like prohibition, eventually the government will want to regulate - and tax - the shit out of it.

I grow a small amount indoors, best use of a spare bedroom, imho. I'd like to be through my learning curve when this state legalizes medical growth. A friend has a friend in Mendocino that grows for that industry. Now that would be da bomb!

Funny that you said that Bennie, I just moved here from Mendocino.. Did outdoor and Indoor for the med clubs in San Fran.. for like 5 years.. it was totally stoked.. Had a BAD situation with a female.. and had to get away from her.. Or else I'd still be up there growing.. So now I go from commercial, to personal.. But I have it in my blood.. I mean comon, my kid's names are Indica, Sensi, and Ishen.. for those of you who don't know what Ishen is, it's what rasta's call herb and tobacco mixed.. I Dig mendo.. But I don't dig females that suck...

ahhahahah love your kids names. Yeah i did it illegally at one time.. My apartment neighbors confused daily marijuana smoke with fresh ganja growing.. but hey they sent a letter out to the building and i just got more ozium.

Agreed.
But marijuana taxation will only serve to bolster the governments already overbearing stance on MMJ. Why line their pockets with the funds to pay for the F.L.I.R. camera looking in your window, or the overtime collected by leo while staking out your spot.. No no my friend, this is a recipe for disaster. This would be kinda like the the rape victim being forced to pay for the rapists defense. Inconceivable

They already tax the food we eat, the goods we buy and the money we make. Be sure, they won't let an opportunity like taxing America's biggest cash crop simply pass them by. That'd just be bad business

Maybe it's just me, but i don't feel like buying any unalienable rights today.... or ever
