| What a maroon | Re: CO2 and WATER CURING?? CO2 Enrichment Water Curing Although i wouldn't recommend a water cure. A good flush for the last 7-14 days will do just fine

It's never too to late to add co2. To get started, the basic equipment you will need is a 20# co2 tank and a regulator system with a solenoid and timer. To really do it right however, you should add a co2 controller for precise saturation. Co2 needs to be at 1500-1600ppm million for optimum benefits. You can use the basic system and use a formula to saturate the room and keep the levels up with a timer that has 15 minute increments, With a controller, the controller turns on and off the supply to keep the ppm in the zone you select. A tank is about 150 bucks new.......I jjust bought 2 used ones on Craigslist for $150. A decent regulator/solenoid/timer system retails at the hydro stores for around $150. You can find a reg on ebay for about $125. (I'll post a link). The big expense is the controller. They can run from around $350 to $1000. Rumpleforeskin (bubblebucket/co2 guru) Recommended the Sentinel CHHC-1, which is the one I just purchased. They're $750.00 at the hydro stores but mine was $509 on ebay. This unit will also control your heat, humidity and cooling, which is a good way to control the rooms overall environmental conditions. If you elect to go with co2......use the tank or a co2 generator.......don't go with the DIY generators that use sugar/yeast. It won't get the proper saturation levels. The tanks cost about 16 to 24 dollars each fill up......in my space, i need to fill up every 18-20 days. Different cubic footage rooms use it at different rates. Your ventilation plays a role in the usage also. The Sentinel unit can shut off the co2 when the fans come on to conserve. It definitely is worth the money....it will pay you back in the first grow. If you have any detailed or technical questions.....Rump is your man...he's been super helpful to me and countless others. About water curing.......I know nothing. Good luck in your growing.......chunk |
