Re: early red hairs

Not an expert - but a lot of the guides I've read say that once you see red hairs add 3 weeks to get the estimated harvest date. 8 weeks isn't unreasonably short for a finish date, at least for most of the strains I've looked into.

Re: early red hairs

Dont really watch the pistols for your bud to be done. But rather watch the trichomes. The pistols can die off for many reasons. Thats no way to gauge your plants doneness...Goto Radio Shack and buy a 100X Magnifier glass and look at the the little mushroom looking cyrstals. As soon as those turn from clear to milky to amber. There done, when Theres mostly milky, Some amber and some clear.

And the drooping could be many things well. Probly over watering though. good luck man.

Or mostly cloudy with some clear and some amber if you want a more heady less stony buzz...

Um, you said the same thing as him except you used 'cloudy' instead of 'milky' and switched 'clear' with 'amber', but it didn't change the meaning at all.

Re: early red hairs

Hey man, I am seeing the same thing on 1 of my plants. Brown hairs in week 4. My other plant has no brown hairs. Same seeds, different soil. Hmm.

Re: early red hairs

Couple things that i've seen cause hairs to turn early are: male flowers spreading pollen and buds hitting against leaves or each other from air movement.
