4th Grow Check it out!

So about three weeks ago i decided to start on my 4th grow. I started with a two bagseeds and two clones. About a week after i started that, i germinated a couple more bagseeds, and started them. I've got 6 plants under only 194 watts but seem to be doing just fine! I'm using MG soil, because thats all i had on hand.

P.S. My Hood was made from foil tape and Snack Pack box from costco. I'm a DIY-er!!!

They look good dude, I heard MG is fine as long as you're easy on the nutes and add perlite to aerate the soil which you have. 194 watts is pretty steep for all of those, how pissed/happy would you be if all the bagseed turned out to be girls?

ive used MG soil through my past couple grows and so far, with my watering/nute schedule, i've learned to keep them from showing any sign of nute def. SO FAR! *knocks on HEMP* ha

but my third grow turned out to be 3 fems out of 5. i think. and if they turned out to be all male i'd just toss em, and keep the couple clones i got. its all for fun.

I do this merely as a hobby, i could really care less about gettin bud from it, but gettin bud is a big plus. I just love watching them grow from seed to maturity. I forget about my budding plants once i start on my next grow. haha like the 3rd grow right now thats budding, i really just want to toss them and focus everything on my 4th grow.

yes sir! i just have one question for all experienced Cloners around, If i took a clone from a plant, that ended up hermie-ing, FROM LIGHT, maybe not genetics, what is the chance they will hermie?

Hey Token, wicked setup man! I love watching your grows! haha

As for your hermie question, I have no idea about specifics with MJ, but if my Biology serves me correctly, you cloned a female plant, so your clones are female clones. If it hermied JUST from light alone after the clones were taken, your clones should be fine as long as you don't stress them with any messed up light patterns. The fact that it hermied may indicate that that plant was more prone to turning into a hermaphrodite under stress, so you should probably mother the HELL out of those clones and treat them like your children, but you should be ok if conditions stay optimal.

But I'm no expert, so if anyone wants to jump in and say "ok, that guy was wrong, disregard everything he said", by all means!

Thanks Prov for stoppin by and droppin a word in about my question. I've been thinking the same thing about the clones, so these new girls WILL BE mothered like not other! ha
And just the other day, i was able to snag a clone from a friend. MEDICAL PURPLE! my first name brand. haha. it will be amazing. here are some morning photos of the ladies today! hope you all enjoy and leave any comments neccessary!

There's love, there's love! Those pics are awesome man, you're looking at a pretty proper set up there. I can't wait to actually grow a name brand strain, I feel you on that medical purple excitement. Today marks day 59 for me, day 9 on 12/12, and things are going pretty well, so Im going to use the knowledge and confidence from this grow and invest in some proper feminized seeds with a reliable strain. I think I'm gonna go with white widow, but I have plenty of time to think it over! I'll have a proper update on my situation today.

those things are growing beautiful man, How old are they now? when you going to start 12-12? are you going to use cfl's for flowering as well?

Thanks man, I really do love Growing, and I don't think I will ever quit. I just love the feeling of it being my own, and that i started all from just thoughts and some perseverance! I'm a real hands on learner, and i love building things. so everything just seems to work out for me! lol I'm really into regular gardens as well, like I love nature so much now, i appreciate everything in it and tons of respect for everything around me in the world. Maybe i've just smoked so much, THC has become infused with my brain! hahahaha
oh and p.s. I HAVEN'T SMOKED IN 5 DAYS!!!! I'm in outpatient, but i'll never lose my respect for weed! :] i'm a stoner for life... PERIOD! its so hard to explain my thinking.

you know, i believe the two older clones and the two taller girls are 33days old, and the two smaller ones are about 26days old, and the Med. Purp. Clone is about 8days old. I'm not sure when i will start them on 12/12, thinking i want to take them from their gallon pots now, and put them into 5gal ones as soon as i can figure out my space in my closet, and the lighting. I want these girlies get MASSIVE! haha And yes i will be using CFL's for flowering unless i am able to pick up an HPS light sometime along the way.
