Wow, they look fantastic. How old are they (above ground) in those new pics?

8 days old.....also i have nutes from like 6 months ago that i never opened..The ones in the pic on page one...are they old....or bad...cant seem to find an expiration date on it...usually if they dont have one then it dont expire lol....but im still concerned..in a week im start feeding them and i need to know if there ok

Does the company that makes them have a phone number for customer service? They could tell you.

TO MY KNOWLEDGE, which isnt great but i still think is right.

Those are the big leaves that came in after the lil round ones.
Dont they usually die off and then the true leaf sets come in
I wouldnt worry about it. It looks healther as hell.

Have you checked your runoff water pH? They look fine though, that twisty leaf is a little wierd, but overall they look fine. What kind of soil are they in?

When leaves curl or twist I think it's usually because of pH or nute burn... or temp, but only if it was really heat stressed.

Sunshine Mix #4.....and i have a Ph tester but its the drip kind...kinda hard to tell if its 6.5 or 7.0...Dont wanna buy one of those fucking Hanna ones 92 bucks is to much for a PH tester lol


Also im not using Nutes just yet....maybe Ph or heat stress...i added another fixture into the grow room...might have placed it to close to the plants or something...But i dont know i have really good ventilation i dont think i could have heat stressed the plant...and its the only one that looks like that..I raised the lights so now there about 4-5 inches off the tops of the plants...also i guess ill go buy a digital Ph meter..just to make sure every thing is on PAR

Leaf oddity could be heat stress, do you have a large difference in temperatures in the closet throughout the day?

surprisingly no.....My day temps average between 75-78 and my nights never drop below 65....

Also i used black and white Polly Visqueen plastic....Cheap $1 a foot....My two grow tents i made together cost 70 bucks or so......had i bought tents from a store it would have been over $200 each..lol

It's definitely not heat stress with those temps (if they are measured at canopy)

I'm guessing it's a pH issue then... you can get pH test strips at a pet store in the fish section. They're much easier to test/read than a drip tester. My runoff is always colored anyway so the drip test doesn't even change the color of the water, it stays brown! Strips work fine though and they only cost like 3 bucks for a 25 pack.

Yes sir there at canopy level..i In fact i have my Hydro meter thingy about an inch above the canopy just to be sure there not getting to hot...Also i am going to use organics and i dont know if the color of the Nutes will change the color of the test papers..also the guys from the hydro store told me not to buy the paper ones..said they sometimes give false readings due to the color/additives of the nutrients...seems like the only way to go is the digital one lol...

Yeah I would agree with that. The only way to be sure is with a digital meter. Test strips are just better than drip test. But back to your grow, I wouldn't stress over it, if you start getting funky twisty/curled leaves or discolorations on your leafsets that have 5 leaves, I would worry, but for now I think you are fine
