Here are some pics. The Big Bud x Trainwreck cross plants are doing well. Nice bushy compact growth. 10 plants under 1000 w HPS. The mother clone has sprouted and you can see the cuttings I took.

Here are some pics from this AM. 10 days into 12 hr light cycle and buds are everywhere. This is the fastest blooming strain I ever grew. Individual plants are all identical, short and bushy lots of buds. Three gallon bags so I switched them at about 14" tall. They stretched a little but not bad. These are Big Bud x Trainwreck cross.

That's a very rare gene/mutation that appears in a few strains that to the best of my knowledge originated from the Chinese land race strains. Those fan leaf buds can actually fill the whole leaf all the way to the tips, turning almost the entire plant into solid buds!

Robert Conell Clark mentions it in "Marijuana Botany".

Sometimes you just get a little tuft at the center like in your pictures and it doesn't grow past that, but sometimes it engulf the whole leaf. It seems that overall plant health plays a role in how far it goes.

You simply must clone this plant, and/or try to get some seeds. This is perhaps the rarest variation of MJ I've heard of. I've never actually seen one.

Here are some pics from this A.M. The mother plant has taken off. I took 10 cuttings and could take another 30. The Train Wreck x Big Bud Cross is coming along. Maybe 4 weeks to go. I think 3 gallon bags are too small for this strain. I cut the bottom off three bags and placed them in 5 gallon buckets about 1/2 full of dirt. I think the PH gets off too fast in the small containers. The last pic is typical of three of the ten I am growing. Fan leaves are turning brown in the center of the leaf and drying out and dying. The PH appears to be about 6.5, no insects of any kind I can see, I checked with microscope. I also have Ladybugs to ward off any aphids or mites.

No pics today. Plants are doing well. They seem to be finishing off really fast. Trichs are already cloudy and have two weeks to go by my calculations, they have been on 12 hour cycle only 6 weeks. I tasted some trimmings and quality is good for early oven dried.
This week I am taking cuttings from the reveged mother that had the buds in the fan leaves. I have use of a clone machine so I am trying that.

Here are some pics. The BBxTW is getting extremely dense. Nice large buds about 2 inches thick. Very sweet and sticky. Mother plant has taken off and would probably yield 2 lbs if grown outdoors. Another few days and its harvest time.

New pics. Great yield lots of trim work now. I'm not complaining. Started batch of 15 clones from mother plant. I am using homemade clone machine. Clonex gel and Botanicare clone start stuff.
