Using soil, first timer

First off i am going to start by saying sorry. its real late where i am at and dont have all the time in the world to read all the threads. so i was hoping i could get some of my own advice and save time. Thank you

I am a first timer. i am just doing this because it interest me, kind of like a hobby. well i germinated and got them sprouted. did almost 5 weeks of 24 on with fluorescence, it was more like 4 and a half. i planted them in styro cups with mg moisture control. and transplanted each of them to their own 6" pot with just organic soil in it. plus what came when i transplanted them. Now i have them on 13 on 10 off. they have only been in the organic soil and light schedule for what will be 2 days when i wake up. I have been doin research and know that they need more p and k. so i was just wanting to know people's preferences on nutrients. And any other advice or common knowledge to go along with. anything would help and be greatly appreciated.

Get those lights at 12 on 12 off. Use a flower fert with low or none N and high P K. If you are using only fluorescents, make sure they are right on top of those plants to get the most lumens to the plants. A couple of inches above is great. I use soil myself, and the one thing I can say is to add a little extra perlite to give it better drainage.

if you're lights are 13 hours on and 10 hours off whats going on in that other hour

^^^ LOL. I guess some people only have 23 hours in a day.

yeah or you could figure out that i meant 14 on 10 off. i have a 4 light fixture. so i have 4 flouro on them. a couple inches away. i was just trying to take a poll of what everyone used for ferts. so i could base my decision on popular demand. i know i need high p and k. any other advice or info is always greatly appreciated.
