General Questions about Grow closet

Hello, im obviously new to these forums and have already learned lots by reading many other threads.I recently decided to turn my closet 3x3x9 into a grow room.
Im going with a ebb and flow system that im gonna construct myself.
Oh ya im using 2 closets actualy both about the same size and 1 being slightly smaller.
Gonna use 1 for veg and 1 for flowering.Gonna use some cfls for vegging and a 250w hps for flowering.
Now these closets are in my bedroom that i smoke cigarettes and blunts alot.
is that extremely bad ? i can seal closets from smoke but what do i do about ventilation?
I also need to conseel this ventilation system as much as possible as i canthave tubes visibly venting my closet lol.
anyway sorry for the novel and i'd rly appreciate some help on this because withthe amount of weed i smoke and money spent I MUST GROW.

Most people would tell u not to smoke in YOUR room, i say i do what i want Anyway enough attitude,,,,Maybe get a airpurifier for ur room,,but u must deal with ventilation,,number 1 issue with a closet grow

Thx for the tip, I guess what i rly am asking is if im fucked because im using closet in my bedroom(which i smoke weed and cigs in) to grow or is there a solution .
anyways how bad is a little smoke for plants , just wondering

As far as I know, smoking wont do any harm to your plants. Maybe some good due to the extra CO2 being released from controlled exhales. Now, I cant verify that they wont be harmed, but common sense dictates that my reasoning is decent. I smoke in the room I grow in, always have, no issues yet.

I don't know the construction of your house but have you considered venting directly up into the attic? Should be easy enough to cut a 4-6" diameter hole in the closet ceiling and shove a duct and fan in there.

I wouldn't sweat the smoking.

Ahh great news about the smoking not being too bad asfor cutting hole into the attic , i would but im the in bottom floor of 2 floor house so i camt but im thinking if i run the intake low to the ground and behind something like a dresser i mihgt be ok?
since it would intake less smoke. im not sure

Keep it open when you smoke then. Should be fine.

Has anyone here ever washed a wall or window of a smokers place? It is not pretty. Think -> Cleaning oil or grease off your hands, it ain't easy.

Over time all that tar in the smoke will accumulate on just about everything, including your plants. Clogging and choking them to some degree. Not to mention the Carbon Monoxide. And yes, i'm a smoker....... i just go outside to smoke. Then my place doesn't smell like an ashtray either.

I'm no Oncologist, but if smoking kills people, what do you think it will do to the plants?

The Stomata on the leaves are kinda like lungs and actually breathe for the plant. They don't work so well when clogged, kinda like humans. Why would you force your babies to cope with any unnecessary stress? Are you that uninspired to grow?

Ever been to a breeders room or a greenhouse for that matter? I doubt they smoke in there.

Of course, you've got the choice to affect your plants any way you see fit. I prefer to treat them with great care.

I'm not saying "you won't be able to grow and smoke in your room".

I am saying "Do you think your plants want to smoke"? Just my $.02

Im very inspired to grow and that why im trying to solve this problem in the best way .
are there any filters i can put in the intake hole/tube to rid the smoke?

Couldn't the same benefit be had without the cigarette? Maybe more so?

I smoke in the room I grow in, always have, no issues yet.

I'd like to know ---> If you've always smoked in your grow room, how do you know it doesn't affect them?

I'd at least try one grow with the same gear & strain to know for sure whether or not it was posing a risk or having a negative affect. - All that gunk on your gear can't be fun.

I'm really not bashing you here, if it seems that way, just trying to clarify.
