| mh to hps heating comparison??
sup yall, my 1000w MH recently burned out, so i had to stick my hps in for veg for a few days while i ordered summore bulbs and goodies from HTG. problem is... im having trouble controlling the heat of the hps... the mh i had pretty much dialed in.. and it never got above 78-80... now my hps is pushing 82-85 degrees.... it could be the hotter weather outside.... the few cold days we had so far with my MH almost made it TOO cold... haha... the nighttime temps dropped down to 60-61 i was having trouble keeping the temps high enough  not so much with the hps now... does anyone know if HPS produces more heat than MH? im thinking it does... but id like to know for sure. its my first time working with MH and ive only had about 2 weeks maybe 3, worth of MH exp... ive got a 400w HPS thats finishing up a plant now tho... so a little more HPS expierence...
