Male or female?

So unfortunately I discovered one of my plants is a male. When I was looking at one of our favorites, Nala, I saw one little ball thing. But I can't tell if it is a female bud thing that the pistils come out of or the beginnings of a male. There is only 1 ball per side where the male had 2. The first pic is the male we found, I couldn't get a good pic of it for some reason so I circled where the 2 balls are. The second one is the one we aren't sure of.

damn its hard to tell from the pictures, but females should be a pistol looking like thing, ya know? males will have bead/beads instead of the hairy pistols..

use a magnifying glass to help see it better

It it REALLY hard to tell from those. they look a little too round to be a calyx, but it is a single preflower so it could be female. maybe try to refocus the camera and post more pics.
