Hey guys i just wondering if any of you use LED lights to grow? i have 1 grow under my belt and i used cfl's but i wanna switch to LED's and was wondering how many of these i would need for 2 plants.http://shop.sunshine-systems.com/product.sc?productId=1

I wanted to switch to hps but these are supposed to be just as good and saves alot on electric bill. And if any of you have used them, do they work good??

LED technology is pretty new to the grow scene. I have heard of one or two people. Most prominently, i recall this thread where someone bet someone else they couldn't grow a bowl's worth of weed in a soda can. He had this neat LED setup inside the soda can. It was soooo cool, i wish I had bookmarked it.

Otherwise I've heard you gotta use about a zillion LED's to get anywhere. More expensive then a good HPS I'm sure.

in the long run if you get a high quality LED rig then it will be cheaper because of the lowered cost of electricity and not having to replace bulbs however it will take a little while for LED's to pay off. also don't get a generic brand

thanks for the help i think if i buy 2 or 3 of those i the link it would be cheaper then hps because i wouldnt need a ballest
