Midget Marijuana Plants?

I'm using an old cabinet to start growing in my closet.

The cabinet fits perfect in my closet and is plenty tall, but the problem is it's only 14x14'' width and length.

Basically, that gives me room for one good plant, but what if it turns out male? Then I'm kinda screwed cause I don't have a back up plant.

I don't think squeezing two in that space is really a good idea so I came up with an odd solution

If I made a shelf in the cabinet, I could grow 4 1 1/2 foot plants on each shelf so I have 8 plants.

Would plants that short and young even flower and produce bud? What else can I do to maximize space?

why not buy feminised seeds,i do and they have never let me down!!

Another option.... grow a few plants in dixie cups (forcing them to be small)... after a week or two of veg'n, snip off 2 clones from each plant....then flip the original plants into flower. Wait 14 days or so and you'll quickly know which ones are male/female... kill the males and now you have clones of female plants. No worries.

Another option is to use feminized seeds.

Another option is to run the LowRider strain...which has a very small footprint and doesnt usually get over a foot tall from base to top. Great for micro grows.

Nah I couldn't clone cuz I have a grow cab with one compartment. And since I can't clone I can't buy fem seeds, I have to produce my own from a male and female.

But I like the lowryder so I think I'll go with that. Hopefully get some seeds soon. Thanks for the info!

The Lowryder seems like the best bet for limited space... I've seen very successful SoG grows with them...

Because if I bought fem seeds, all the plants would be female. And since I can't clone with my setup, I would have to buy more seeds to keep producing plants.
