Side of leaves curled up, otherwise healthy

Sup blades? I started another indoor cfl grow and am having a problem. The plant is beautiful, nice green leaves, no yellowing or any sort of burn. The plant is in Scott's Top Soil in a party cup (soon to be transplanted). The temps range from 86 to 89F when lights are on. All other babes are healthy (just seedlings though).

The only problem is the leaves are curling up from the sides. I don't think it is any sort of deficiency but rather overwatering or underwatering. The plants leaves are not droopy at all. I don't think heat stress is a problem because the lights are not close enough to burn. It may be pH related, but I do not own a pH meter and probably won't anytime soon.I can't feel any moisture in the soil because it got so fucking compact that I cannot feel more than a half inch below the surface. I'm sorry I do not have pics because my camera is a battery hungry son of a bitch and I do not have batteries readily available. I will, however, post a pic when I can.

thanks

peace

EDIT:: Ok, I just watered. Seems like she needed it. That is most likely my problem but I thought it wouldn't hurt to gather input from another source

if it isnt heat stress, its usually a magnesium problem.

either the ph is out of whack which prevents the plant from getting the needed magnesium or the ph is good and there is a lack of magnesium for the plant to uptake.

check ph, if ok, add some cal-mag plus per the directions on the bottle or you can buy some epsom salts and feed magnesium that way.

hope this helps.

86f sounds a little high to me. And i thought it was important that the soil not be compact so the roots can breath and grow. I'd say if you're plant starts growing really slowly, the soil is too compact. Just my .02.
