I have recently come across the opportunity to purchase a sunsytem 4, 175 watt metal halide system. my question is that sense this system has an enclosed ballast is it even worht the purchase or will temperature control be a haslte with this fixture. along with having the ballast enclosed, the wattage is only 175 which i would supplement with high wattage compact flourescent but will the 175 be worth it or should i jsut save up more money and get a proper 400 watt MH system?

Hopefully some one out there can help me out, i would truel appreciate and advice or recommendation, asap would be nice but whenever is cool

Well although it's pretty much depending on your space and the number of plants, I'm pretty sure 4, 175 watt MH lamps would be great, even overkill.

sorry man, i didnt mean four 175 watt metal halides, its a sunsystem 4 light system, that is what model the reflector is bro, thanks for your insight
