t-8 lighting

i was wondering what tubes have to be bought to make t-8 lighting successful for veg?thanks to all that reply!!

I use 4' t8 for my clones. 4 bulb hood 2 warm and 2 cool and seems to work great.

thanks for your reply have t-5 lights for veg but found these fixtures which take both t-8 and t-12 bulbs for free at a yard sale want to adapt them to keep my mothers thriving.
