I JUST started (like a week ago) and I have a $150 lamp (I bought from a hydroponics shop), some soil, some fert, three different colored pots, the works. Lol. I figure if I'm going to do something, do it right..... right?
Anyways back to the point. Like I said, a week into growth and I have some questions (I have a guide from marijuana.com printed out to help along the way, but personal info is more reliable):
#1. It's starting to emerge. (No camera so I'll describe the best I can) It looks like the seed turned a light green color and poking out of the soil. The whole "seed" part is out. Is that what it should look like? I still don't see a stem or anything.
#2. I usually spray it everyday with a spray bottle I bought, just enough to keep the soil moist/damp. How much water should I be giving it? Maybe not enough water?
#3. I have a fan going on the little half sprout/half seed thing (lol). Should I wait to turn on the fan? Should I keep it going?
#4. What about the fertilizer? Should I put a little in now (it's 2-1-1 by the way), or wait a little bit longer?
#5. (Re-cap question) How far should my lights be from them? They are fluorescent and right now they are pretty close. I have a T5 Four bulb 24" hang lamp display.
Someone PLEASE help a bro out! I'm anxious and in my anxiety I'm afraid I'm going to screw shit up. Lol. It's my very first plant and would rather not have to re-germinate seeds and wait even LONGER. Thanks guys.

#1 Is the the seeds shell on the plant it will fall of here in a couple days. No need to mess with it.
#2 Do not spray the plant and only water when the soil looks/feels dry, this lets more oxygen in the roots and makes the roots explore to find more water.
#3 Wait until it gets a little bigger then have it on LOW.
#4 Do not think ferts until 3-4 weeks Superthrive would not hurt unless you overdo it 1 drip per gallon is ok.
#5 As a sprout not to close when it starts looking good and gets a nice leave set put them as close as you can with out burning them.
Tip: Do not worry too much after all these plants can take some punches and trust me you will screw up on your first grow everyone does but you learn from your mistakes. (when I say screw up I do not mean you will kill it however it is a possibility) PLEASE do not worry about ferts for 4 weeks I thought adding 10% nute solution would help a lot and it screwed everything up you must wait.
