Old seeds ?

Does the age of a seed matter?

I have some pretty old seeds that I planted. Two of them are about a year and the other two are maybe a year and a half old. Would the age affect growth? They are growing very slowly. but from germ to sprout was only 4 days so I figured they were going to be a normal grow. I have plenty of light on them 24 hours but have not seen much if any growth on any of them?

Seeds stay good for a long time, age will usually only affect successful germination, not growth once germinated. You should be fine.

What type of light are you using? What are your temp/humidity levels?

The temp is around 75f, not sure about humidity, and the lighting right now is 5 26watt 6500K CFL's. I'm gonna try transplanting them in new dirt today and bigger pots though they don't need the size right now but I'll be able to fit more lights.

Does the water matter? I have well water that I give them and its pretty hard. Or should I use distilled
