Need a little help about ventilation coolers

Hello guys,

a need a little ideas or help about the ventilation - the space is about 1.2x 1.2x 1.7metres. I decided to use Evercool 140mm 37CFM 16dB fans and a 400W HPS 48000Lumenious and 2000k colour temperature lightning, for a 6 plants?
How many fans would be enough for this space and what is the maximum temperature i should keep?

you should be aiming to change the air in your grow room every 3 minutes, and try to keep temps below 80 deg F with the lights on. My grow room runs at between 82 - 88 deg F and my babies look fine but any higher and growth will slow and then stop altogether at about 95 deg f unless you are using CO2.

So, do u think that two ingoing and one outgoing coolers would be enough, or i will be oriented by the temperature in the box?

u need to be exhausting more then u intake u want a negative pressure in the box
take one of those intakes make it a exhaust & temps will fall
if it dont go down enough u need bigger fans

I have another question- if in vegetative period my plants approach 30cm height(about 4weeks), how many times the plants will slow down grow up height when start flowering on 12/12?

I want the total height for all the plants to be 1meter, so on what height i would put them to flowering period?

it will double sometimes triple in size during flowering
so when its less then half the size u want flip ur lights 12/12

put ur hand over ur plants if its cool bring it down some if its to hot for ur hand back it off
till u find best distance

Here i go again. I have a problems with the fans because they will be not so silent and i`m not sure about the keeping temperature- so i decided to use a 250W HPS Philips.

Would it be enough for 6plants in this space:
1.2m wide
1m deep
1.7m height

I just want to prevent any using of coolers, because somebody can hear and see them. Is it possible?

im new myself, but if your growing in a box, im pretty certain you will need exhaust fans with any mh/hps, the only way around is using fluro's, they work too, just takes longer.. Or maybe you could run a duct exhaust straight to the light to suck the heat off..correct me if im wrong, im new, lol

that would work, and is how im setting up my ventilation in my grow room. I have pics on my grow journal. Im going to have two intakes, and then three exhaust with small fans, one duct im going to hook up right under the side of the light to pull heat out...hope its work....im still playing with ideas, this is the first try to learn and improve. good luck.

So do u think this 250W HPS would be enough? My main purpose is to have no cooling fans, or at least they number to be a minimum .
