SOG strain choice...

A couple weeks ago I posted my plans for next year and got some helpful advice on how to go about things. So what I've decided is to go SOG, and use a flood tray to hold clones I take from 1-3 mothers. I want to use an 8 week flowering strain so I can take a harvest every two weeks. I'll be using a 600W HPS for flowering, all over the same flood tray. I'll be trimming the plant as it grows, so as to only grow one main cola. So that's about all you need to know for the question I'm about to ask.

8 week flower cycle (not very flexible on this)
Preferably a shorter, squattier plant
A strain known for producing high quality, decent size main colas

What strain do you guys suggest? I'd love a nice yielding sativa...but given my constraints, that'd be pretty hard to accomplish. Anyways....bring on the suggestions, friends.

That would work, although I feel like 8 weeks would be a little soon for that strain. I was thinking White Rhino. Anyone else?

If I was in your position (deciding a good strain for SOG) I would buy Lowryder crosses. Diesel Ryder looks pretty stable and NYC is a KILLER high. Grow out 15 mothers of a good lowryder cross and you could pull in 2-4 ounces per plant under 10 weeks full grow time. Mind you these are estimates, just my two cents.

Please god do not grow lowryder. It is a weak ruderalis cross that never produces enough to make it worth shit, just like the rest of the autoflowering strains. Get a heavy indica. 6-8 weeks flowering, large and dense colas. LST to make them even shorter and to get a good SOG canopy.

I swear by Nirvana seeds even though most don't. I would go with blue mystic or ak-48. Fast flowering and there were some phenotypes that were just ridiculous. One of the AK phenos had more trichome development than I've ever seen. And blue mystic is a couchlock from hell with quite the immediate head buzz as well. Plus they ship to USA! Yay for loopholes!

I would never consider any autoflowering strains for this experiment, don't worry haha. I think we've narrowed it down to two choices. We're either going to stick with our original idea (White Rhino) or we're going to go with a new choice...Purple Wreck. It's a cross between Purple Erkel and Trainwreck. The description said it was a nice, short plant with very dense nugs and a short flowering period. Also commented on it's high yield potential. What do y'all think?
