when to turn 12/12?

Im planning soon on having 10 female skunk specials under a 250w mh, how much veg do you think i should give them since theyre not gonna need to be big when i turn 12/12. but obviously with seeds you have to wait for the plant to mature a bit before itll flower. im aiming for 20grams a plant so i think 6 weeks would definitely be enough, maybe a month. im hoping they grow quick cos ive had plant that look so small after a month, that was under cfl or outside, i seem to remember under hps they were a lot quicker

i heard the 6th or 7th node is the min?

6 weeks sounds about right. Only way I can tell is by the size of the plant. Since it will double and then a bit more during flowering I tend to switch to 12/12 when I can no longer be sure that it will fit once mature in my growbox.

how high should u veg before starting flowering with a 1.4meter from pot to roof box space

im a very impatient grower and i also am very short on space. i usually only veg for a month tops. you can still catch a decent yield if you do it right. what i do is measure the space i have from the rim of the pot to the roof of my cabinet and cut it in half. when the plants are about an inch under the half way mark i switch to 12/12 not only to hurry up and kill off the males but also by the time the plants are done flowering they should fill the cab right up to the lights. hope i was informative.

you can switch to 12/12 whenever you want however, if your trying to do it like mother nature intended it, as soon as you see alternating nodes, its time to flower

just figure double the height of when you start 12/12 read some threads on lst,topping,bending,slapping around.

plants are mature to show sex anywhere from 3-6 weeks thats why i flip to 12/12 at 2 and a half... haha.....

4 weeks of veg seems to be the standard veg time.
