a few harvest questions

so i'm within a few days of harvest, at about 50% red/white hairs, and damn near 50% cloudy heads.

1- to water or not to water? i've heard people swear by both, which is better?
2- miracle grow soil... fuck me i know i used it.. i've flushed over the last week or so, not sure if thats enough b/c im using that extended release type.

alright, anything is appreciated. peace

Don't use the pistils to determine when to harvest, go with the trichome heads. I like to wait until some of them turn amber before I chop. Sounds like you might be chopping a little too early. As far as watering some people like to hold off of watering before chopping to speed up the drying process. As far as your flush I might just go with pure water for now until some of those trichs. have turned amber.

Right I know you mentioned that but you also mentioned that 50% were cloudy which is too early in my book. If you read the rest of my post you would have noticed that I said it's good to have a few of them turning amber for optimum harvest. Or at least till about 80%-90% were cloud but that's just me. Good luck.
