Postponing curing?!

Hey everybody, I just had a quick question about curing. If I didn't have time to cure the harvested and dried herb (because I'm leaving town), is it ok to begin the curing process for 3 or 4 days (just enough to dry it) and store the bud for 7 weeks (the time I'll be away) and then restart it by putting an orange peel in the jars? My other solution would be harvesting at least a week early to give the buds 10 days to cure.
Any help would really be appreciated because I really don't want to harvest early just to cure.

You dont want to start jarring/curing your weed until it is completely dry (or at least feels that way on the outside - it will still have moisture inside the buds). If you place it in jars that early you will most likely end up with jars full of mold when you return.
If you have to, harvest a little early and give your plants some time to dry until the stems are brittle and snap easily, then place your trimmed down weed in jars and cure it. I personally have tried "burping" the jars for an hour a day and leaving everything alone and both tasted absolutely amazing after a month in jars and only got better with time.
It sounds like you might not be familiar with what curing actually is so do a search and smoke a bowl!

I actually am very familiar with curing. I prob expressed myself in the wrong way. And I know I'm supposed to cure after the buds are dry. I would never leave moist buds in air tight jars for seven weeks with out areating. However my only problem is time.
Anyway the main question I was asking is can you postpone the curing of dry buds by storing them and then remoisturaize them with an orange peel 7 weeks later, or is it necessary to cure immediately after drying?
