Be careful when using HID lighting and make sure to always use specified lamps and ballasts to prevent problems such as shorts or at worst, electrical fires. Check out some hydro shops online or in your home town if there are any. You will find all sorts of lighting options that are specially designed for growroom use. Your cost could be from less than 100 bucks for a low-wattage HID or a Flouro setup to over 500 bucks for a top-of-the-line digital 1000W setup. The choice is yours. Good Luck!

you need to match the bulb with the ballast. Doing otherwise can cause a fire,

Another place would be an aquarium store that sells to people who keep reef tanks. They use metal halide fixtures and at the very least you could take your bulb to them to match to a ballast or fixture.
