leaves turning yellow

i'm growing a few plants in my dresser with a few floros, and the leaves at the bottom are turning yellow with brown dots, should i just cut these leaves off? they are about 2 weeks old and will be transported outside in a couple weeks.

skoinkins,

You could cut them off, but thats not solving the problem.
It would behoove you to tell us more about your setup so that we can help you stop the yellowing all together.
Starting with what type of soil are you using?
Have you fed it nutes?
Have you tested the pH?

How big are the plants and what size pots do you have them in? Also, besides the change in colour, are the leaves curling under?

It could be possible they are becoming rootbound which means there is not enough room for their roots to be free and happy so the plant is slowly being suffocated.

i don't know the ph, but the soil is 60 % an organic mix, 40% perlite, i have them in solo cups and they are all about 5 inches tall on their 3rd node. i fed them about 1/10 strength fertalizer the last two waterings, i'm obviously not fertalizing again. but the only leaves that are yellowing with the brown spots are on the very bottom, and are shaded, i figure if they're dieing because they arent getting light, they're not going to any time soon anyways, so i've heard of ppl pruneing and i thought it'd be pretty much the same thing. oh yeah, and only one leaf is curling, i'm only having this prob on 3 of my 10 seedlings. my main q is, if i is lack of light should i just cut the leaves off?

thanks happyjack13 i think that was my problem for one of em, cuz the roots were coming out the bottom so i transplanted.

skoinkins dont think your supposed to fertilize until like 4 weeks cuz the soil should have enough nutrients.

If it was lack of light the plant would just either stretch to try to get more light and just grow tall and lanky, or it just wouldn't have sufficient light and wouldn't grow, it would affect the entire plant not just a few leaves. Try transplanting them into something bigger, a good rule of thumb I like to follow is, when they are in the seedling stage and in solo cups, transplant them when they are about the same height as the cup. 5 inches is right around the size of a solo cup so if it's plausible try that, and see what happens.
