plant problems..

hi all,
i've developed problems on my latest grow, and was just wondering if anyone has ever encountered the same before...
let me begin... the plants are stunting in growth, only around 5-6 inchs in their 6th week of veg, 110w light, that i have used in all previous grows and never had any problems till now..
aswell as stunting in growth, they are dropping their bottom set of leaves, new growth at top, bottom leaves go dry and brown and drop off..
i recently bought new pots, these are 3 1/5l pots, around 10inchs tall, and 4inchs square, only thing that is different to all other successful grows...
seeds soaked in water till sprouted then planted straight into the pots...
6 plants, 2 strawberry cough, 2 afghan kush, 2 greenhouse cheese..

all ideas appreciated, need anymore info, just ask.... oh and i'll try and get some pics posted so u can all see what i mean...

How often are you watering? What type of soil do you have? And are you using ny nutes?

i water when the soil is dry to touch, about 2cms depth. the soil is canna all mix, and the nute is biobizz biogrow, about 4ml for every litre of water. i'm thinkink that pots are to deep and that the plant is concentrating on root growth, rather than the development of the plant itself.. just my own conclusion tho, and thought i'd throw it out there, and see if anyone has ever encountered the same prob.

I would say its lack of light, 110w for 6 plants doesn't seems like enough, even if it is MH.

More light would definately help the problem. Also, a phosphorus deficiency in the early stages can lead to very slow growth. Phosphorus is crucial for root formation.
