How good will alaska fish emulsion which is 5-1-1 work for veg? What do you recomend over that and what for flowering? From home depot, lowes,or walmart.

Only bad thing about it is that it smells terrible. If your looking for organic, try worm castings they also sell at walmart.

The fish emultion work good, but smell like fish ass...
I wouldn't use shultz, but I seen some people using it here, you might want to do a search to see how it worked for them..
You don't need to add anything special when transaplanting, and for flowering you want low N, higher P and K.
I use the fish emultion for both veg and flowering, it has alot of esential oils and trace elements; half a tbls per quart when veg, 1 Tbls per gallon when flowering mixed with other things in a tea..
Worm casting also work great.

The high phosphorus rating in the transplant solution helps promote root formation which is great for veg along with lots of nitrogen for foilage growth. Good Luck!

forget about fish emulsion unless you want your grow room/house to smell like shit. stick to a good chemical salt fertilizer like Schultz's 20-20-20 for veg and 10-52-10 for flowering.

Typically potassium promotes large 'fruits' and most people use a fertilizer high in K for flowering purposes. 10-52-10 is very high in phosphorus which is crucial for root formation but not too high in potassium (K). Perhaps a fertilizer with a higher K rating to promote flowering will fit you better. Good luck!

Couldnt agree more! I just started using it this grow, they seem to like it. I use that and MG 21-18-18 at really low doses every one in a while. i used the 5-1-1 for maybe 6-7 weeks before the MG. does smell terrible though
