Growing in a closet on an apartment balcony

Hey, so i'm looking to move into a new apartment pretty soon and i went on a tour of it today. Outside on the balcony there is a closet. Do you think this would be a legit place to grow or would the temperatures fluctuate too much? I kind of like how it get the fresh air from outdoors, as well as the humidity, but stays in a closet... thoughts?

Do you get cold winters? Do you have cold nights? I'm told 40 F is the floor when it comes to growing. If you have a period of 4 months (preferably more) where the temp doesn't go below that, then it should be good. Now just worry about security, cause if you can be seen, it isn't a secure site. Security is job #1. It's hard to harvest in jail.

That's true, stomata completely close if temperature is 32 degrees F or below and 40 would still be pushing it. If you plan on using HPS lighting, the red/orange spectrum is very noticable so be very careful.
